Hello Friends!
Today as we celebrate our Republic day, we salute our brave hearts, who sacrificed their lives serving and saving the country.
Be it army personnel, police, doctors and health workers, teachers, farmers and all the working class last but not least home makers - every one of us contributes to the building up of the Nation. Every ones contribution is important.
These are tough times. Many lost their lives, lost jobs or lost members of the family. So many small businesses and industries were shut down. Family incomes have drastically been reduced as the bread earners either lost their lives or lost their jobs. There is still confusion and uncertainty as to what the future holds for us.
Many kind hearted people have come forward to extend help. It does not matter how little the help is or in what form it is. It matters a lot to the receiver. Even if we cannot help them financially, standing by them, wiping their tears, encouraging them to come over their grief is also a big thing.
We have come across so many instances where, people helped in what ever way they could, irrespective of age, religion or region. Many instances have gone unnoticed. Such instances of kindness and empathy motivate us to do what ever we can to help our brothers and sisters.
Slowly and steadily we are all recovering. But still we need to be cautious. We need each others support as we come out of these tough times.
We Indians can and will bravely face such tough times and come out successfully. It has been proved in the past and it will be so in the future too.
Our culture, our traditions have imbibed the qualities of resilience, kindness, tolerance, optimism, philosophical outlook and so on.
We all need to put in our efforts, in which ever way we can, in what ever form it is possible. It need not be on large scale.
I am proud of our culture, our traditions and our Nation. I am proud to be an Indian. Aren't you?
Please stay safe and healthy.
Wishing you all a Happy Republic Day.
