Hello Friends!
Hope you are all doing well. It rained here a little bit last night. It's good for my garden. There is nothing like rain to revive plants.
Today I am sharing a Birthday Card. Only two colours; red and white. It is landscape oriented. I use this orientation rarely. I don't know why.
Birthday Card |
I have used the Spellbinders Butterfly Corner Die. I think this was one of the first die I purchased.
I love flowers and butterflies and also intricate lace like die cuts.
The center of the red card stock was cut off and replaced with white card stock die cut. It is like inlay work. But I raised the die cut using foam dots to elevate and focus on the sentiment.
I have used Mudra Stamp. This one is one my favorites. I love the big size of the words and also the scripty line of the font. It is really elegant and classy.
Insert |
I have punched out the border on both sides of the insert and used some red ink for dabbing the border.
I think though the card is simple it looks too plain and needs some improvement.
What do you think? Is it too plain and loud? Should I have added some butterflies or other embellishments? If so which colours? I would love to hear from you.
Thank you for all your love and support. Please keep supporting me.
