Flying kites during this month and especially during the Makar Sankranti festival is a tradition observed in most of the North India. Now a days kite festivals are conducted in open places as people don't find much space or time to fly these kites in cities or towns. So here is Kites Rangoli celebrating the spirit of Sankranti.

Accessories are as important as the dress we wear. If they don't match or compliment the dress we are wearing, even the most expensive and beautiful dress we are wearing will of no use. 

Footwear is  one aspect which men and women have to select carefully to go with their dress or out fit.  Fashion does matter, but for me, the comfort matters a lot. Here we are almost on the verge of summer season. So we need to choose foot wear for the summer season, comfortable for the hot and sultry days. I for my self prefer open sandal types with    comfortable heel. But these days, flats are rage. I don't much like the flats but well, one or two pairs from sale will not pinch my pocket.

Pearl Necklace.

I had purchased some good quality pearls for my mom long time back. I wanted to get it made into a chain with gold wire. But somehow, I could not get it done. Now the price of gold has gone up so much that it is not affordable. So I just stringed them on a wire and fixed it to a dori. It is simple and my mom loved it. She is now able to wear them.

Well it was difficult to string them as my hand is still paining. But some how I managed it.
