Friends this is my 100th post on Rangoli. Till now I have tried my best to post on various themes. there are many more themes to be explored and new Rangolis created. there is so much I want to share with you all.  One more thing is I am not able to post some Rangolis for special occasions and festivals on time so that you can use them on that day.

From now onwards I will try my best not to miss out on such occasions. But As I am mostly travelling, it is very difficult to find time to properly pen these Rangolis and post them. But I will try. 

I would also like to know your suggestions and comments or requests on this topic.

Here I am sharing with you one more Rangoli on Lotus.

Here is the last butee in this series. This one is smallest of the available. I bought this for the blouse to match the sari as well as some to be used for the sari itself.

All these butees were available in different sizes, designs and shapes. Some were filled with heavy work and some were very simple. The price depended upon the size and  amount of work done etc. I choose a few of the variety for my sari. It will take some time for me to complete attaching them. I will post the pictures as soon as I have completed the work.

Friends I have given all the butees in detail so that you may note down and use it in your works. I enjoyed sharing them with you. Hope you have enjoyed too.

Shiva Lingala Muggu

Friends I am so sorry I could not post this Rangoli in time for Shiva Ratri. I was so busy travelling. Shiva Ratri is an important festival for us Indians, more so for us Andhras. Andhra was earlier known as and refereed to in ancient texts as Tri Linga Desam- a state where there are three Lingas of Shiva. Tri Linga with time became Telugu as shown below. We are Telugus and our language is also known as Telugu.  

Trilinga---;Telinga---;Telangu---;Telungu---; Telugu 

The three Lingas are: 

• Lord Bheemeswara at Draksharamam (East Godavari district), 
• Lord Kaleswara at Kaleswaram (Karimnagar district) and 
• Lord Mallikarjuna at Srisailam (Kurnool district).

Linga is the form in which Lord Shiva is worshipped. Shiva Ratri is the day when Lord Shiva is worshipped through out the day and night. Ratri means Night. It is believed that at 12 mid night on Shiva Rartri, Lord Shiva appeared in the form of Linga. Hence that day we keep fast and also keep awake the whole night. It is an important festival for our State.

Here is the Rangoli I created for Shiva Ratri:
