21 dots three rows then 15 dots three rows, 9 dots three rows and then 3 dots 3 rows. This is on one side. I have left some gap for the greetings and repeated the same pattern of the dots on the other side.

5X5 Chain Rangolis

The traditional Chain or Mellika muggulu are all time favorites, whether during the festival season or for every day rangolis.

Here are some small Rangolis. Chain Rangolis.

These are 5X5 blocks and can be expanded as per our requirement. These are very easy to draw and can fit small places. Same design can be repeated or one or more designs can be combined for bigger Rangolis.

If you want to colour them. It is better to sprinkle the colour (single or more colours in a square shape) first, then put dots on them and draw the Rangoli. Colouring after the pattern is drawn can be a bit more cumbersome.
