A Hello Card

Hello Friends!

Hope you are all doing well. I am back after a long break. I had to take a break because some of my students were taking board exams. I was attending to their doubts 24X7Summer was at its peak. We had to pickle some mangoes at the last moment.

I was exhausted completely and wanted to relax a bit. But entire family suffered food poisoning. So though better now with all the antibiotics I still feel weak. I think it will take some time for me to completely recover

Here we had a few showers at the onset of monsoons. But the heat and humidity continue.

Today I am sharing with you a simple card.

Hello Card

I have used colour pencils for colouring the stamped image. The word Hello was cut out of white and tangerine orange coloured card stock. I used two layers-tangerine colour as top layer to make it thick.  I added Glitter to it using colourless glue

Border Punch

This is the border punch I used. When I first started making cards, cutting dies were not so freely available in local craft stores nor there were few online shops. The cost of branded dies is also very high. Punches were newly introduced in our local craft shops. So I bought some.

Insert

This is how the insert looks. I used a soft peach coloured paper for it with corners punched .

I wanted to use the colour combination of violet and orange. I think the combo looks good; a bit bold though. What do you say? Please do leave your comments/ suggestions.

I want to thank all those lovely people who kept on supporting me through out. Your support means a lot to me. THANK YOU!

Watch out for more... I have loads to share with you.
