Rangoli-412

Tulasi and Kalash

Rangoli-412

21 dots - 5 rows and then Straight dots upto 5 Rows on either side.

This time for Sankranti, I wanted something different for rangoli. Usually we draw kites, pongali pots etc. But this time I chose Tulasi-Holy Basil which is sacred to us. Kalash is also an auspicious symbol.

Note: This one is my own original creation.

Most of these designs are my own original creations, which I create by spending much time and after hard work. So please don't post these photos or designs (even if you draw these by your own hand) on your site or blog in any format.

Please link back to my blog. I hope you understand this and respect my request. Thank You.

Rangoli - 325

Here is one more Rangoli for VaraLakshmi Puja.

This time it Kalash with Swastika. We use Kalash for this Puja. Goddess Lakshmi likes Lotuses or water lilies whatever you call them. I am always confused and can't differentiate between the two.

This is 21 to 1 dot straight dots. I have used red, yellow, saffron colours as it is an auspicious religious occasion. I have used pinks for the lotuses.

I have kept it simple. We can't waste time on Rangoli alone when there is lots to be done. Do you agree with me?

Hope you like it. Please do try it and let me know.

I do have lots of designs but no time to post. Need to prepare everything for tomorrows Puja...

Rangoli-312

VARA LAKSHMI SPECIAL

Tomorrow is VaraLakshmi Pooja. So here is the special rangoli.

I started with 11X11 dots in center. then added the extra dots on all four sides in the center, as shown in the first picture, which is for Pots

This is how you draw the pots using the dots.

You can draw the lotuses and swastikas as shown below.

This is very easy and simple. Hope you like it.
